Mediator, which is the official ZonMw magazine on research and innovation, has published an interview with Dr. de Vries (in Dutch). In this article he tells about our ongoing ZonMW Meer Kennis-Minder Dieren project "Generation and characterization of conditionally immortalized cardiomyocytes: A new and versatile cell platform for cardiac disease modelling, drug screening and regenerative medicine". Pim and Jia are currently working on this 3-year project, of which the first paper has just been published in Cardiovasc Res (full open access).
