PhD: 13-18, Postdoc:18-19
Jia is from Shenzhen, China and joined our lab in the spring of 2013 as research student. During her PhD training she focused on the development of new molecular and viral tools to explore cardiac remodeling and arrhythmias. Her projects were co-funded by the KNAW China Exchange Programme (in collaboration with Zhou Guang-Qian, PhD; Shenzhen University Medical School). In spring 2014 she received a personal grant from China Scholarship Council to support her PhD training. She became a postdoc in late 2018 and is currently using conditionally immortalized cardiomyocytes for molecular and electrophysiological studies into cardiomyogenic differentiation.
