Said Askar has won the Young Investigator Award for basic science during Europace-Cardiostim 2015 in Milan! He presented our studies on the electrophysiological effects of forced fibroblast-cardiomyocyte fusion. Jia Liu, another lab member, is one of the runner-up's.
