Cardiovasc Res publishes our work on light-induced termination of anatomial reentry

We have published our paper entitled "Optogenetic manipulation of anatomical reentry by light-guided generation of a seversible and local conduction block" in Cardiovascular Research, with Masaya and Iolanda as first authors.

The conclusion of our paper reads as follows: "Anatomical reentry in ventricular tissue can be manipulated by optogenetic induction of a local and reversible conduction block in the reentrant pathway, allowing effective reentry termination. These results provide distinctively new mechanistic insight into reentry termination and a novel perspective for cardiac arrhythmia management."
