Horizon Magazine, which is the official EU magazine on research and innovation, has published an interview with Dr. Pijnappels, which is part of a special edition focusing on ERC-funded projects dealing with cardiac disease and treatment. In this article he tells about his ongoing ERC-StG project "Biological auto-detection and termination of heart rhythm disturbances". Currently, 2 postdocs are working on this project, while another 4 researchers will be recruited in the next 2 years.
