Drs. S.N. (Sanjay) Gobardhan is sinds 2017 in opleiding tot cardioloog aan het Leids Universitair Medisch centrum en zal zijn opleiding in 2022 afronden.
Daarnaast houdt hij zich bezig met zijn promotieonderzoek, dit betreft screening van Hindostanen op risicofactoren voor hart- en vaatziekten.
