hiAM culture media

The hiBASE medium and hiDIFF supplement have been designed to support the proliferation and differentiation of the hiAM lines, the first differentiation-competent human cardiomyocyte cell lines.

During proliferation, hiBASE medium supplemented with 2% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 100 ng/ml doxycycline supports hiAM expansion, whereas hiBASE medium with 2% FBS and hiDIFF supplement differentiates hiAMs towards contractile and excitable atrial cardiomyocytes. hiAM culture media will be available soon.

Revenues resulting from hiAM culture media services provided by the LUMC will be deployed for non-commercial academic research purposes.
