Juan Zhang joined our team in May 2018 as a research technician and obtained her PhD degree at Tsinghua University in China, where she focused on the molecular mechanisms of pluripotency.
Juan studied Molecular and cellular biology at Beijing Medical University (China). Through her PhD training, she has obtained a broad range of knowledge and skills in molecular and cellular techniques. She did her postdoctoral training in the lab of Peter ten Dijke (2009-2013) at LUMC, Leiden. Here she investigated various signaling pathways. She continued her career as research technician at the Department of Human Genetics (LUMC) and moved to our lab in Spring 2018.
