Huiling joined the lab in late 2022 to continue her PhD training in Clinical Medicine, which she started at the Central South University in China.
She holds a Master degree in Clinical Medicine from Central South University with a specialization in cardiac surgery. During her PhD training she has been publishing on signaling pathways in cardiac and lung damage. Here in Leiden, she will use optogenetic tools to dissect cardiomyogenic differentiation.
