PhD: 2015-19
Emile Nyns joined our lab for his PhD training in Summer 2015, after obtaining his MD degree.
During his PhD training he focuses on optogenetic engineering of the whole heart for biological arrhythmia management. These studies are supported by ZonMw and ERC.
Emile has finished his training and is expected to defend his PhD thesis late 2022.
