Annemarie Kip, MSc

Tech: 2014-17

She obtained her MSc degree in Biology from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, where she specialized in animal adaptation and behaviour and followed a minor in molecular biology. She performed an internship on mouse developmental biology at the department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics at Oxford University. During her ICIN-supported PhD training she will focus on developing a novel method of directed gene delivery of viral vectors into the pericardial cavity, and testing the possibilities of this treatment to inhibit cardiac fibrosis. Currently, Annemarie is continuing her research as technician.
