Oral and poster presentations at EHRA 2017 meeting in Vienna, including Young Investigator Award session

We will present 3 different projects at the EHRA 2017 (Europace Cardiostim) meeting in Vienna.

Iolanda Feola will present her work on localized optogenetic targeting of atrial rotors during the Basic Science Young Investigator Award session.

During a Rapid Fire session, Emile Nyns will share his latest data regarding termination of ventricular arrhythmias with light flashes upon optogenetic engineering of the adult rat heart.

Finally, Sasha Teplenin will guide the audience through his work on optogenetic manipulation of electrical source-sink relationships during a poster presentation.

These studies have been supported by a Vidi grant from the The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and a Starting grant from the European Research Council (ERC).
