A few months ago we published our work on hybrid bioelectronic anti-arrhythmic systems in Science Translational Medicine. This didn't go by unnoticed for ZonMw, especially not because this work has been supported by a Vidi grant. For them a good reason to invite us for a meeting at the ZonMw headquarters in The Hague. ZonMw was very interested in how the Vidi project evolved over time, how the collaboration with Kouchi Zhang and René Poelma (Department of Microelectronics, Technical University Delft) was established and how we dealt with the exposure of our publication.
