Lab visit of children from Transvaal "University" for some (weird) science

The Transvaal "University" has been established in late 2016 with the aim to help children from the Transvaal region in the Hague to further develop their skills and to recognize their talents. Last Saturday (Jan 21), 15 of these 8-12 year old "students" visited our lab to see why and how basic biomedical science is important. Emile Nyns and Niels Harlaar, two of our PhD students, took care of the supervision and introduced them into the world of (weird) science. They did a great job!
