Dr. R. Abou

Dr. R (Rachid) Abou is in 2018 gestart met de opleiding tot cardioloog aan het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC).

In 2021 promoveerde hij op het onderwerp: "The role of advanced echocardiography in patients with ischemic heart disease". Dit deed hij onder begeleiding van copromotor dr. V. Delgado en promotor prof. dr. J.J. Bax. Het promotieonderzoek heeft zich specifiek gericht op geavanceerde beeldvormingstechnieken in patiënten na een acuut hartinfarct.

Dr. Abou zal zijn opleiding tot cardioloog in 2024 afronden.
