Drs. M.J.H. (Mand) Khidir is in 2017 gestart met de opleiding tot cardioloog aan het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum.
Daarvoor deed hij onderzoek naar cardiale resynchronisatie therapie (CRT), dat hij naast de opleiding voortzet in het kader van een promotie. Cardiac devices, zoals pacemakers, ICD’s en LVAD (steunhart) is dan ook zijn interessegebied.
Drs. Khidir zal zijn opleiding tot cardioloog in 2023 afronden.
