Dr. S. Man

Dr S. (Sum-Che) Man is hoofd ECG-dienst waarbij ze de onder andere inspanningstesten en holter ECG’s superviseert. In 2016 promoveerde ze op het onderwerp: Vectorcardiographic diagnostic & prognostic information derived from the 12-lead electrocardiogram aan de Universiteit Leiden. Het in dit proefschrift beschreven onderzoek laat zien hoe de transformatie technieken en vectorcardiografische analyse van het standaard 12-afleidingen ECG de diagnose en risicostratificatie kan verbeteren.

Naast haar werk als hoofd ECG-dienst geeft ze onderwijs, zowel aan onder andere anesthesie medewerkers in opleiding en klinisch perfusionisten in opleiding als aan studenten geneeskunde, biomedische wetenschappen en klinische technologie aan de universiteiten van Leiden en Delft. Verder is ze betrokken bij wetenschappelijk onderzoek omtrent het gebied van de elektrocardiografie.
