Dr. L.A. de Weger

Dr L.A. (Letty) de Weger is senior onderzoeker. Zij heeft Biologie gestudeerd en is gepromoveerd bij de Universiteit Leiden. Zij is sinds 2001 werkzaam bij de Pollen Informatie Dienst van afdeling Longziekten en verzorgt de dagelijkse pollentellingen van het LUMC. Haar onderzoek richt zich onder andere op de ontwikkeling van symptomen in pollen-allergische personen, trends in pollen aantallen en pollenseizoenen onder invloed van het veranderende klimaat en de ontwikkeling van een hooikoortsverwachting. Zij is betrokken bij onderwijs aan studenten van het Leiden University College The Hague.
