Dr. B.O. Bingen

Dr. B.O. (Brian) Bingen is in 2014 gestart met de opleiding tot cardioloog aan het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC).

In 2011 is hij cum laude afgestudeerd en in 2016 promoveerde hij cum laude op het onderwerp “Molecular and cellular determinants of cardiac tachyarrhythmias: from trigger to therapy” onder begeleiding van prof. dr. M.J. Schalij. In dit onderzoek werden de basale mechanismen van het ontstaan van snelle hartritmestoornissen onderzocht. Ook werden experimentele therapieën voor hartritmestoornissen in labomgeving getest.

Dr. Bingen zal zijn opleiding tot cardioloog afronden in 2021.
